The Social Dilemma reflects Tullock’s contributions to areas of public choice that typically are ignored by mainstream scholars, who tend to focus on cooperative, democratic states. Tullock explores instead the workings of the dictatorial state and the economics of war between nations.

The ideation narrative was to create a visual concept about the influence of media and the liberating power of art. The TV is the dominant figure, the puppet master and the figures are helpless and fascinated by it, drawn to its power. They are mesmerized and controlled by its light and the TVs light beam acts as strings controlling them. The artist in the shadow, is reaching to turn off the powerful tool, symbolizing creativity and resistance. 

The original piece is 35-50 cm, the technique is Ink pen , Scratching and finally colored by air brush and ecoline.

The ideation process was aimed to invoke wonder as well as to highlight the pomegranate as the focal point, symbolizing the richness and complexity of the story, and incorporating celestial elements to add a sense of wonder and universality. A pomegranate that is both whole and split open, showing the seeds inside, symbolizing unity and diversity as well as evolution and growth. Deep reds, purples, and blues have been used to evoke the richness of the pomegranate and the vastness of the cosmos. Gold accents have been added to highlight key elements and add a touch of elegance, depth and a sense of wonder.
